They are referred to as the “Hindu-Arabic numerals” or simply “Arabic numerals”, which were adopted by the Europeans during the Middle Ages, and were later transmitted to the Americas.
The “Hindi numerals” on the other hand, are most commonly used in The Middle East. They consist of : (٠ – ١ – ٢ – ٣ – ٤ – ٥ – ٦ – ٧ – ٨ – ٩)
The term “Hindi numerals” also refer to any numbers used in Indian languages, (०.१.२.३.४.५.६.७.८.९)
